AMAZING TRAINING! It’s focused on special needs children but I have to say that I’ve used so many pointers with my daughter who’s 2 years old. It was a great learning experience for me. I will definitely look into listening to the training so just keep the information fresh in my mind. It will be useful as I help not only kids in my class at church, but as I help my daughter navigate through emotions and new experiences in her toddler years.

Trina has done a great job developing and implementing program[s]. Her engagement, support, and passion for supporting families was felt across our community.

Don’t waste time, talk to Trina asap as she can make a big difference and support all family members as having someone in the family who is not neurotypical affects everyone. Don’t feel you are on your own or the only ones going through difficulties. It feels so much better once you can talk to someone who really understands. I highly recommend her.

It has been a very positive experience. You [Trina] are very easy to talk to and to confide in and always know what to say to help us all, whilst understanding how we feel. You knew what we were going to tell you and how to respond straight away and we all understood each other well. Your advice was perfect for us. You even handled things well when we were all annoyed with each other and we didn’t know what to do. You helped us understand what we had to change without making us feel bad about it. You knew how to talk to each of us, even though we are all so different.

Firstly, I would like to thank Trina for all her efforts and for her genuine concern about my son. It has been a very positive experience to be coached by Trina. She is very knowledgeable and a patient listener. I recommend her services to anybody who is willing to take her advices, and strategies, and actually put it work. My 4-year-old son, who is in the spectrum, has been able to quickly learn and follow many of directions taught by her in just couple of weeks. I plan on continuing to build upon the skills Trina has taught me along with the ABA therapies.

I would definitely recommend her services to all parents who have any special needs child and need some guidance.

Trina’s work with our family has been a game changer and not only have we felt a shift in our family dynamic behaviorally, we have felt it in our relationships. We are bonded better than ever. We feel more confident as parents, we feel better equipped on how to handle situations as they arise, and we feel better knowing more how to truly reach our child and serve him best as parents.

You [Trina] are a phenomenal advocate for families. I am so thankful for you.

Trina spent numerous hours working directly in the classroom and at home with our student in need. Her expertise, knowledge, and use of research-based best practices have proven invaluable and demonstrate true expertise in the field.

I would absolutely encourage friends and family to work with Trina. I struggled to find a therapist that really listened to what goals were important to me and our family concerning our daughter along with and how I wanted to implement the strategies. I had done a ton of research and it seemed very rare to apply aba practices in a more compassionate manner. Every program was more concerned with getting her to comply with demands or requests instead of understanding what she is being asked to do and how to appropriately respond to the requests. It was such a struggle to constantly advocate for her right to learn how to say No appropriately. Advocating for a more individualized program was so exhausting as a mom who wants to help her child as much as possible. I was even having trouble being able to be more involved in the program and learning what I can do to assist in helping my daughter more. The parent trainings that were provided gave me the same information that I had already exhaustively researched on the internet.

After my first initial chat with Trina, I knew there was other better options out there and working with the right therapist is what we needed to do. These past 8 weeks have taught me more than the 2 years of therapy and all the years my daughter has spent in school. My daughter has made huge improvements in trying to communicate and now that I have the tools to continue to work with her and build her skills. I would recommend doing the initial consultation and you will know immediately that Trina is here to help your child and YOU thrive. The amount of care and compassion she has to ensure I am given the tools to help my daughter is immeasurable.

The thing I liked the most was being give[n] the tools I needed and you walking me through how to use the tools. Then if there was an issue you gave other suggestions on how to tailor things to work for my daughter. Not understanding how to implement some practices with how my daughter reacted was one of the things that holding me back from really implementing certain practices before.

This is something I recommend to ALL parents struggling with child behaviors. As a father of a child with Autism and ADHD, I was frustrated and exhausted. The older my son got the more severe his behaviors became. I had resolved to simply \"survival mode\". But then I heard about Trina. I was skeptical for sure, when I signed up for the parent coaching program. However, I can honestly say that it was the BEST decision I've ever made for my child (and me). In less than 4 weeks, we began to have more good days then bad. I was surprised to learn how much my parenting style affects my son. The weekly coaching support and accountability helped me put needed strategies in place. Now, I do enjoy taking my son to restaurants, church and activities with other families, which was NEVER an option before. Our quality of life has improved dramatically. I no longer feel embarrassed but feel confident that I am parenting him exactly how I should. Thank you Trina for your dedication to helping me and my son!

Trina has been instrumental in helping us shape our kids’ behaviors. They are now more likely to follow our directions without complaining, they are helping with chores and are generally more responsible.

I'm a mom of a 9 yr old boy with ADHD whose challenging behaviors controlled every aspect of our lives.  Every day and everything became a struggle - our house and our lives were in constant chaos. We always walked on eggshells, (avoided going out in public) because anything and everything would trigger an undesirable behavior. This strained our relationship between each other as well as with family and friends. I was embarrassed, angry, frustrated, and full of guilt. I felt I was failing as a parent. I didn't know how to help son or my family. I cried and prayed for peace and happiness. Then I came across this program and booked a call with Trina. As soon as I started talking, I began to cry - I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I never talked to anyone about any of this let alone someone who experienced everything that we were going through. At that moment, I knew this was the right program for my family.  As a family, we did the work and implemented the strategies suggested by Trina. After a few weeks, we noticed positive changes in his behavior. We were communicating with each other, but most importantly we connected as a family. We were laughing and enjoying each other. This program changed our lives! It gave my son the skills that he'll continue to use throughout his life!

I am so grateful for all Trina has taught me to help me with my sons tantrums. I felt like I was a bad mom and that my son was beginning to hate me. We would go out to eat, to the store, or even to the park, and he would tantrum. I didn’t even want to go out in public anymore. She explained to me how to read his body language, divert his attention, and how to better understand what my son can’t communicate yet. We are all so much happier now. We are getting to go out again and enjoy raising our son. He sits in restaurants with us now, I even get to eat a meal again! He is now smiling and laughing more than he ever has. I wasn’t being a bad mom, I was just struggling to understand when my son was becoming overwhelmed.

I would describe my experience as truly so invaluable, from your experience and knowledge to how you structure the program to be individualized. I would share that making the decision to work with you has been a decision that I will always be grateful for.

The program was individualized for my son and our family, and that really helped in implementing the different strategies into our daily life. I am very thankful for your guidance and compassion and providing space with each call, I felt supported and validated. You are a true gift- thank you for all you do!!
