Tired of picking up their toys?

The next time you ask them to pick up and they don’t, calmly walk in with a trash bag and start picking them up and putting into the trash bag. Calmly let them know that they had a choice and since they did not listen, you had to do it and they have lost their privilege to play with them for a certain amount of time. Whatever timeframe you choose, make sure you can stick to it first. I would suggest a shorter time for the first offense. Consistently use this tactic and they will quickly realize you mean what you say AND there are consequences to ever choice they make….to listen or not to listen!
